Echinacea Purpurea: As the name suggests, this lovely toothpaste contains Echinacea Purpurea. Echinacea is extracted from the roots of the Echinacea Purpurea plant – a plant we know under the name red sun hat. The plant is found as a perennial in many gardens, but is also used as a natural medicine all over the world. At A. Vogel, Echinacea is grown under controlled conditions.
Tormentil: You will probably pass this plant if you enjoy walking in the woods. With its small yellow flowers, it adorns the ground in many forest areas. If you lift the flower by the root and crush it, it gives a red juice. Tormentil has been nicknamed blood red because of its characteristic blood red sap.
Eucalyptus:There are over 700 eucalyptus species worldwide. Toothpaste from A. Vogel contains eucalyptus oil from the species Eucalyptus Globulus, which has been nicknamed the fever tree because it can reportedly drain swampy areas to such an extent that it creates poor conditions for the malaria mosquito to hatch. In this way, the fever tree helps to get the fever – malaria – out of the way.
